ads never load even after disabling ad blockers

I have been using your Palia portion of your website (palia.th.gl) and the first time I had loaded into the site I had my ad blockers enabled. I then returned to your website to be presented with a message requesting I disable my ad blockers, and I had decided that you provided good information in a format that is very pleasing and it also seemed like, if your ad place holders were to be trusted, you had a reasonable amount of ads that were also fairly non-intrusive (still don't know if this is true but I'm going to go ahead and assume it). **The issue is that once I disabled my ad blockers to allow your ads to be displayed the state of the website never changed. I am still seeing the site just as if I had all the ad blocker enabled.** I thought this might have been a loading issue at first and just waited till I used the site a couple times to b sure it was actually refreshing properly and also NGL it's kinda not my problem if your ads don't load. However, after a couple system restarts and some amount of refreshes and clicked links later it still remains in this state, and I feel like this is kinda of a huge deal as you might be missing out on a fair amount of support should this not be a unique situation. - I've refreshed multiple times - I've checked that all my ad blockers are disable and that I didn't have any installed I forgot/wasn't aware of - Restarted my computer completely Beyond that all I've done is join this Discord to see if there was a ticket out for this already and now submitting one as I did not find anything. I am using Microsoft Edge 148.0.3967.70 (64-bit) to view your site when I came across this. Feel free to reach out/DM if you need more details and I don't see that there has been a response to this post.

Check the security settings in your browser as well. Make sure that TH.GL is added to the list of sites excluded from cookie and tracker blocking.

I have no sites under "Exceptions" and in "Blocked Tackers" TH.GL is not in the list

thatfuckinguythatfuckinguy5/21/2026

and it's set to Balanced and "Strict" is off just as you have it on your screen shot as well

winderinewinderine5/21/2026

Are you using any VPN or antivirus?

thatfuckinguythatfuckinguy5/21/2026

no VPN and just Windows Defender

winderinewinderine5/21/2026

Okay, backup your profiles in the map first, then try clearing the cache and data for th.gl

winderinewinderine5/21/2026

oh, and i did want to let you know, the ad blocker warning is not because we're desperate for ad revenue, but rather because the ad blockers break site functionality and nobody's quite sure why (they really shouldn't)

thatfuckinguythatfuckinguy5/21/2026

fair, I just like to be able to disable ad blockers for websites that are useful and don't have ridiculous ads, least I can do if you are providing a useful service

okay this is everything I deleted

GG @EdgeCase_, you just advanced to level 1!

thatfuckinguythatfuckinguy5/21/2026

and after refreshing the site I still have the same results

winderinewinderine5/21/2026

Was that cache or just cookies?

thatfuckinguythatfuckinguy5/21/2026

from what I read that includes the cache specific for the site but I have no way to confirm

thatfuckinguythatfuckinguy5/21/2026

I kinda don't want to clear my entire cache

winderinewinderine5/21/2026

no, that's valid

I definitely remember someone else having this issue with Edge in particular. I cannot remember what the resolution was. Do you have this issue with other browsers such as Firefox?

thatfuckinguythatfuckinguy5/21/2026

haven't tried TBH let me check for ya

thatfuckinguythatfuckinguy5/21/2026

yeah so in firefox it seems to be the same case...

winderinewinderine5/21/2026

Do you have a VPN you can try?

thatfuckinguythatfuckinguy5/21/2026

I do not
