I can confirm this is missing as well, but since it's a third campsite for me when I was only expecting two, I wonder if this location is a special case that doesn't normally spawn new rummage piles/food/backpacks like the others. The grill itself should still be added to the Campsite filter imo, since it can be cooked on.

All of the servers I have access to have the same pattern of loot piles, so I'll have to wait til tomorrow to provide confirmation if the pile vanishes

This rummage pile is still "active" (despite being dug up) for me several days later and so I'm now certain it's an introduction to rummage pile campsites and not a repeatable rummage pile like the other sites

yes thank you! The game hasn’t done any tutorialization yet or any indicator that this is an intro to the feature but it seems like it is, so if I notice anything has changed I will reopen this thread ☺️

You can check if palia.th.gl/rummage-pile?map=royal-highlands is correct for you. But I think it's different per server

That seems like a problem with the palia server then, not the map. You should be getting (at least) two new campsites with 1 rummage pile each and a chance for a backpack every 24 IRL hours
