Allow removing line points in drawings (filters)

Looks like the filters/drawing feature changed not long ago. I used to be able to edit lines on a drawing, where i could shift+click (i think) on a node/point connecting 2 lines to delete that point. this does not appear to work anymore. is there a way to delete a point in a long line? It's useful to be able to remove points instead of deleting and recreating the entire line layer
