Reported by @coleslaw_9825 in #palia-map: > i noticed the "trail" that follows behind the player can be changed in color (i actually have it turned off completely). can the color of the player icon itself also be changed? not a huge deal, again, but the default blue color can sometimes be hard to see. What I checked: the settings currently let you change the trail color and the player icon size (Settings, Icon Sizes, "Player Icon Size"), but not the color of the player icon itself. This post tracks adding a color choice for the player icon.

The Hidden Gaming Lair10/3/2026@coleslaw_9825 Done: you can now pick the color of your player icon. Open Settings and look under Icon Sizes for **Player icon color**. Pick any color and your icon takes it on while keeping its dark outline, so it stays easy to spot on the map. "Clear color" in the picker brings back the original icon. Right next to it you will also find the **Player Icon Size** slider and the **Player icon below markers** switch, in case a bigger icon or one drawn under nearby markers helps too. It is live on the website now (reload the page). In the Overwolf app it arrives with the app update that is rolling out now, and in the Companion App after a restart.
