Release Notes
- Form names - Regional forms use the game's new names: Timberline (was Mountain Woods), Rainfall (was Rainstorm) and Flowerfield (was Sea of Flowers). Your hidden and discovered markers for these forms are kept. Open the map
- Erlath - 259 spawn points that showed Budclaw (Mudflat Form) or Flamerion (Highland and Sea of Flowers Forms) now show Erlath, matching the latest game update.
- Bonfires - 18 Bonfire and Bonfire Spawn markers on Idyll now light up live in the Companion App when you are near them. Open the map
- Map - The Lumin Marking under the old tree ("Beneath the swaying shadows of this ancient tree...") now says that a breakable rock stands in front of it: break the rock first, then go right up to the marking. In every language. It is the only Lumin Marking with such a rock. Open the map
- Map - 65 chests, Aniipods, Lumin Ambers and eggs only appear after you finish the puzzle, fight or task at their spot, so the spot looked empty before that. Their markers now say so, in every language. Open the map
- Map - The Idyll map showed 135 markers from the opening tutorial area, a one-time copy of the start area that you can't go back to after the tutorial. Those markers included 33 chests and pickups that aren't in the open world at those spots. They are gone; the start area's real chests are still on the map. Open the map
- Map - The Idyll map showed 443 extra markers from an old closed-beta demo copy of Idyll that you can't enter in the game. Most were second copies of Aniimo already on the map at the same spots; the rest, including a Glynsera Prismana and a travel point, don't exist in the open world. They are gone; the real Idyll spawns are unchanged. Open the map
- Pathfinder Challenge - Eight Pathfinder Challenges only open after you beat another one first: they come in chains, and each win unlocks the next. Each of these markers now names the Pathfinder Challenge to beat first with its in-game coordinates, for example "Opens only after you beat the Pathfinder Challenge at X -780, Y 1515", in every language. Open the map
- Elite Pathfinder Challenge - All seven Elite Pathfinder Challenges (six on Idyll, one on Astra) only open once a promotion quest sends you to them. Each marker now names that quest, for example "Opens once the quest "Promotion: Dewdrop Crystal‘s Resonance" sends you to this challenge", in every language. Open the map
- Map - The chests, Aniipods, Aniimo, characters and other markers inside Cave 1 to Cave 15 sit on the map above their cave, so it looked like they could be reached from the surface right there. Each of these markers now says which cave it is in and that you get there through a Cave Entrance, in every language. Open the map
- Map - The Cave Entrance filter was called "New Cave Entrance" in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Indonesian, Thai and Vietnamese. It now uses the plain name the game shows on the pin, e.g. "Entrada a la cueva". Open the map
- Companion App - Voxel Coins and Purple Voxel Coins you already picked up this week, or that are not out for you this week, are now marked as found on the whole Astra map, not only near you. They fill in once you play Aniimo with the Companion App running and stay after you close the game. Turn on "Hide Discovered Nodes" in the settings to see only the coins still waiting for you. After the weekly refresh the marks clear on their own the next time you play. Coins you marked yourself stay as you left them (the app's marks say "Auto-discovered" when you hover them). Needs Companion App 22.6.0 (close the game first, the app updates only while no game runs). Open the map
- Map - The Voxel Coin description now says that the coins in Astra come back every week, so a spot you collected last week is worth checking again.
- Companion App - In Live mode, Voxel Coins, Purple Voxel Coins, Voxel Cores and Voxel Aniimo in Astra now disappear from the map once you have picked them up, and only the ones the game shows you this week are drawn. Before, a coin you had already collected stayed on the Live map while you were near it. Live mode shows the coins your game has loaded around you, not the whole map. Needs Companion App 22.5.0 (close the game first, the app updates only while no game runs). Open the map
- Companion App - Voxel Cores and Voxel Aniimo stay on the Live map again. They are not part of the weekly coin refresh.
- Map - Mutant Truffles, Mint, Star Grass and the lore books in Gathering (Old Truffle Hunter's Notes, Perfuming Arts 101, Floropedia of Bloomville, Guide to Grandparenting, Bulbly Electrolinguistics) can be picked up only once per spot and do not grow back. Their description now says so, and you can mark each spot as found, so collected spots no longer look like they are still waiting for you. Before, they were described as regrowing over time. Open the map
- A Lumin Amber in the Russet Highlands and an Aniipod that only appear during a story quest now say so on the map: "Only appears during the story quest Helmut's Island Adventure" and "Stars and the Knight". Before the quest the spot is empty. Open the map
