Yes. The TH.GL Companion App is free with ads, and supporters can remove them completely. No account is required.

What does live mode show in AION 2?

Which versions of AION 2 are supported?
The app detects the game automatically when it starts. Supported: Steam.
Can I use it on a second screen or my phone?
Yes. Switch to second-screen mode with one hotkey, or connect your phone or tablet with Peer Link to use it as a live minimap.
Release Notes
Every spawn spot of every monster is on the map now, as a small dot, with the monster's portrait on a few of them so the map stays readable.
- Monster spawn spots - every spawn spot is a small dot in its creature type's color (gold for elite, red for heroic monsters), and the monster's portrait shows on a spread-out few that never overlap. Zoom in for more portraits. Hover a spot to make all spots of that monster stand out, or click it to fade everything else and see exactly where it spawns. Hover text in all 8 languages with level, rank, hunting ground, spawn spots and loot highlights. Open the map
- Other NPCs - a new filter under Services with every guard, villager, legion member and story character that has no service, as a small marker with the NPC's name and title. Off by default.
- Instance Doors - 31 doors and gates into instanced outposts, hideouts and story interiors, with their names.
- New maps - Beritra Air Raid / Incursion of the Spirits, Accursed Sword and Abyss Corridor, with their monsters.
- Dungeon monsters - dungeons show every monster of a group, not just the first one, so about 400 more named monsters are on the map and 310 new ones in the bestiary, like the Draconic co-bosses. Different monsters that share a spot in dungeons on the same level each get their own marker, and bestiary entries that shared a name now say which one they are, e.g. "Blades Assault Captain (Lv 22, Elite)".
- Event NPCs - one marker per field event instead of one on every helper's spot, and the Trap Board and racing event NPCs are on the map now.
- Harmless critters, traps and objects you cannot target are no longer shown as monsters, on the map, in the bestiary and in the Companion App's live mode.
- Live on every map - Live gathering nodes and monsters now work on every map, not only on some of them. Monsters that only appear along quest paths are on the map too, for example the Kerubar in Poeta's Daminu Forest.
- Live mode - Since the October 14 game update the Companion App showed no gathering nodes or monsters around you; only your own position still worked. They show again with Companion App 22.11.1 (close the game first, the app updates only while no game runs).
The map and database are updated for the October 14 Halloween update.
- Map - Eltnen and Morheim have updated map images and new merchants, crafting tables and storage spots. Open Eltnen
- Database - The Halloween items are in, including the Halloween Pumpkin Coin, the Special Halloween Chest, the Halloween skins, the Little Ghost and Pumpkin Carriage pets and the Spider Wings. Open the items
- Item categories - The category list on item pages showed "Daeva Express" three times, one per voucher kind (Sealed Dungeon, Stronghold and Monolith Express Vouchers). They are now one Daeva Express group. The quest list has one Duty group instead of two, and Misc items are no longer mixed into Valuables. Open the items
